Saudi Arabia’s top leaders both sent congratulatory cables to Algeria’s President Abdelmadjid Tebboune on the country’s National Day, reaffirming close ties between the two nations.
In a statement released by the Saudi Press Agency at 13:41 local time (10:41 GMT), His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, sent a cable of congratulations to President Tebboune. The message, described as a formal diplomatic gesture, extended wishes for continued good health and happiness, and for the steady progress and prosperity of the Algerian government and its people.
A separate cable, issued the same day and released by the Saudi Press Agency, was authored by King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques. The King’s letter likewise congratulated President Tebboune on Algeria’s National Day, wishing him health and prosperity. It also praised the distinguished fraternal relations between the two countries and peoples, indicating a mutual desire to strengthen and develop those ties across all fields.
