On November 1, a woman driving in a car was injured when debris from a Ukrainian drone fell on her vehicle in Russia’s Nizhny Novgorod region, Governor Gleb Nikitin reported via TASS. Nikitin said the woman's life is not in danger and added that an industrial facility in the region suffered significant damage from the attack.

TASS also relayed that Nizhny Novgorod mayor Yury Shalabayev confirmed there were no casualties from the overnight drone strike on the city, providing additional confirmation of the incident’s limited impact.

The governor’s brief note was posted on his Max channel and echoed by local authorities, indicating that while physical harm was present, no widespread injuries or fatalities were reported. Nikitin’s confirmation about the industrial facility underscores the broader effects of the drone attack on regional infrastructure.

As the situation remains under official review, TASS continues to monitor for any further updates from regional emergency services and frontline witnesses.
